The Sleep Charity of UK published a report ’DREAMING OF CHANGE A MANIFESTO FOR SLEEP’. The report indicated that sleep is underappreciated and misunderstood, and the report stressed on the need to include sleep in the health priority.3 The sleep Charity study indicated that 9 in 10 people in UK are currently experiencing sleep issues and millions are living with undiagnosed sleep disorders. Several research articles emphasise that sleep deficit effect the metabolic risk factors including high BMI, high LDL cholesterol, high systolic blood pressure, and high plasma glucose.
